In the morning when I wake up a smiling dawn greets me
No matter if the clouds appear bleak or gray or it could be a sunny day
I know it is another day the LORD has given me
In the morning, the soothing breeze caresses my face
My whole body is then embraced
Awakening my mind and heart to feel and see
The grandeur of this world my LORD has given me
And the gaiety that penetrates my heart sends the blooms of love
into the crevices of my weary soul
Enlivens the dormant modes within
Makes each fiber reverberate and echoes then the love my LORD has given me
How blesssed I am to feel the essence of the day
The moment of the rising sun
The lapping waves of the vast oceans
The truth of each and every day chimes like tolling bells
Death or life is nothing to fear
A celebration always
Each day my LORD has given me!
How difficult it is to mend a broken heart
yet with the Lord, it never even takes a moment!
Our Lord and God, thank You for the shield You put on us. We are not afraid of evil's tricks because we are bound by Your love and statutes. Your Word is our strength; Your love is sustenance for the weary hearts and staggering souls!
