Know that GOD exists~
I thank the LORD always for bringing essence into my busy days and even during those calmest moments. He shares words that are so wonderful to the heart that I can't help but pass them on. It is a humbling task to share them with you. How blessed are we to feel the callings and nudges within our hearts. I find it a humbling task to pass on GOD's love in the best way I know how. I hope you enjoy these quotations. In the many years of my writing, I have written down many quotations and they are in my three books: "To GOD be the Glory" "Heartbeats of Life" and "Nuggets of Hope" ---- GOD keeps on giving and we embrace every bead of His blessings and awakening. There's never a moment that the HOLY SPIRIT's enlightenment does not come in.... We just need to be open to His nudges and respond to the callings of His love.
Life is beautiful! To mend our hearts we need to be caught in its streams. The flowing current, raging or calm, heightens our awareness and strengthens us in our aim to reach a better nurturing, meaningful life. We can attain this life if we want to and it can happen it we open our hearts to the LORD's touch. Without HIM, life will never be.
Struggle not but believe!
Believe in the One who is Divine!
We must not ignore the promptings of the HOLY SPIRIT!
I Will Always Be That, LORD
I will always be that, LORD, what You want me to be
An ambassador of Your work in every way
I will always listen, LORD, to what You want me to hear
Never fearing anything, my LORD, even though death is near.
I will be in Your fashion, LORD, I carry Your stripes with me
Nothing can harm me, LORD, for You put a shield on me
Though roads are filled with ragged rocks and high mountains to climb
I am never afraid, my LORD, for Your help comes on time
I will do things, my LORD, the way You want me to
I will talk and walk, LORD, as I represent You
I will use my gifts, LORD, the ones You want me to share
I am Your servant, LORD, now and forever!

Greetings of Love, Hope, and Charity from the Philippine Nurses Association of South Florida (PSF). The Philippine Nurses Association of South Florida considers this an awesome gathering to partake in. I would like to give sincere praise to all the organizers of this musical fellowship especially Dina Asesor who has always shown spiritual strength and kindness in all her ways. To Virginia Deferia and Dick Ruckman who are kind enough to travel from afar to share with us their GOD-driven musical prowess and inspirational message, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Indeed, for us who are in need of expression, music has always been our recourse. For us Filipinos, there is always a native belief and affinity to songs, poetry and music. What we cannot say in plain language, we say it in simply-woven words with melodic and poetic tones but with deeply-felt sincerity and honesty. “I Believe” concert hopes to enhance our self-expression and our deep faith in GOD.
“GOD Listens,” a concert of love and hope to benefit Whitney Leckenby and the IFOPA, was held on Saturday, October 2, 2004, at the Garfield Elementary School in Olympia, Washington. It was the second concert this year that our dear neighbor, Virginia Deferia, organized on behalf of the IFOPA. The first was called "A Gift of Love" and was held in February 2004.
Both concerts were lovely. The first was held at a local restaurant and was very intimate with about 50 people in attendance. The second concert, "GOD Listens," was a much larger production with about 200 attendants. It was wonderful to see so many friends and caring strangers support a cause so close to our hearts.
Whitney had babysat Virginia's children a few years ago and had always held a special place in Virginia's heart. This year, being an especially difficult one for Whitney, with the loss of movement in her jaw last December and both arms over the summer, Virginia felt called to help.
Virginia is a poet, author, composer and singer, who touches and inspires people to hope. We are so grateful to her and to Trinity Greenfield, Rafael Flores, Tina and Florante del Valle, Patti Anema and John Heinley, who also performed, giving us hope in the fight against FOP, especially for our Whitney. Update on Whitney
What an inspiration to bring you an update on Whitney! Whitney is doing very well and want to share with you that she finished her AA in Digital Design from Pierce College and is busy doing several personal projects. She has also done freelance work for different companies and Cut-Rate Auto Parts.
Way to go, Whitney!!! You are truly an inspiration! We thank GOD for everything and give glory to HIS name!
There are no binding woes in my heart that would stay
Your ever-mending love fills the gaping wounds
There's no darkness to be afraid of for You're there all along
There are no constrictions in Your love and hold
Like each beautiful morning that comes and unfolds
The beauty of Your caring and lasting embrace fill my needs
When I walk with You, my LORD~
When I walk with You, my LORD~
It is Your touch that mends and heals
My aching wounds You tend with care
Your love creates the strength within
In Your love I find life's meaning – oh, how I feel alive again!
When I walk with You, my LORD.
The elation in my heart is overflowing
like the unstoppable rushing waves of the sea
Like the gentle pouring rain on thirsty soil parched and devoid of tenderness
Your touch quenches the dryness spell
From day to day through all eternity
My soul gets soaked in Your love so pure and gets nourished even more
When I walk with You, my LORD.
When I walk with You, my LORD.
At the HOLY SPIRIT's prompting, we need to open all our senses to receive His blessings and His grace. We need to hear His teachings and learn from His guidance. With Him our joy overflows. It is to the fullest. He loves us and never has once forgotten us. It is one living truth to know that He is within each one of us, guiding us and showing us the proper way to our life's destination. When we accept Him, He nourishes our individual heart and fills our mind with righteousness. He offers the Living Truth that feeds the soul.
It is never too late to cling onto the rope of salvation. Hear GOD's call today. Repent and be healed!
Let GOD's love shine from within you!
Walk in faith and never be afraid
for the Mighty King is with you every moment!
Arrows bend at the mere mention of the LORD JESUS' name!
He is cloaked with majesty!
No mighty spears can penetrate His holiness! He is LORD and GOD Almighty!
Glory to Him forever!

Eternal life, unceasing joy, living truth and pure freedom from clutches of pain and wants ---
all for the taking at no cost -- GOD offers to all of us.... Why choose the other way?
Gleams of Hope sends their sincerest gratitude to all attendees. Thank you so much for allowing us to help raise funds for the St. Blessed John XXIII's building project. We are so enthused in sharing our love with each of you. Your heartwarming welcome has touched our hearts. Many, many thanks to all for your gift of love. Special thanks to Sister Dina, Sister Mody and the Handmaids of the LORD and all your families. To Fr. Ernest Biriruka for his devotion and heart offerings to the LORD. You're the shepherd of such a dedicated congregration; to Dennis, for coming to the rescue concerning the music and sound system ---- deep within I believe you were GOD-sent to make everything work... you came just like that and offered your support and assistance. To all attendees from Miramar and those who came from other cities and towns, thank you for having brought the difference to that chosen day. What a blessing you all are to us. You gave from your hearts for such a cause and GOD smiled. How humbled we are for His provision. GOD bless you all....
LORD, thank You for allowing us to share Your love, truth and message of hope with those who were there. Among family members and friends, Your living WORD, fed our hungering souls; the seeking hearts found peace in Your name. Praise to You forever and ever!
