There are many events in life that I want to change if I can
But I realize they're all within GOD's plan
I experience the good and the bad flow of events
Gotten right in the midst of life's raging streams
I thank my GOD for events that shaped me for who I am
There are times I may not truly understand
I have trodden life's roads with heavy feet at times
But in my heart, I know that GOD will make my days shine
Moments with the LORD are ones that keep me afloat
Just like what happened with the disciples in that boat
I can sail through the muddy and convoluted roads
All because, all because of the love of my LORD!
With His loving touch it becomes easy to forgive
Easy to let go, be free and truly live
I have been frustrated, lost and totally shaken
But GOD took care of me, cleansed my sins that I may live again
Moments with the LORD, puts fire within my soul
Pains I have become bearable
I've entrusted my life to Him on that meaningful call
Now I follow Him, my GOD, my All!
Come, Beloved, come with your burdens and woes
Come to me with your sorrows
I will show you how to cope.
Come, my daughter; come, my son!
Come to my healing arms
I give you total acceptance
Rest in me, things will be done.
I am Redeemer of sins and faulty ways
My love cleanses the deepest shame and guilt
